Final Weekend:

This has been one heck of a fast (and fun) summer.  7 weekends have gone by in a flash and now the final weekend is here.

If you have not joined us in a while, you'd be well advised to come help us blow it out, especially on Sunday.   Cookie is whipping up some extra special vittles.  ...and there will be cake and bubbly (and a wee giftie for everyone) to help us toast the successful completion of our third season in Old Sacramento.

Will Wood (Uncle Sam) informs us that we have had visitors thus far from 47 countries and 38 states!   Please be sure to sign the back of the poster showing the names of all these countries and states so we can present it to our friends at the Sacramento History Museum & State Parks.   We will be giving it to their representatives at the cast party.

So... be sure to join us for the cast acknowledgement party on the lawn behind the Eagle at 5:00 this Sunday!  We look forward to seeing you as we join together for the 2012 Finale' of Time Travel Weekends, and raise a toast to another great summer.

"THANK YOU!!! ...for your talent, your enthusiasm, your friendship, and every little thing you have contributed to making Time Travel Weekends an unqualified success!"    ~Kevin Patterson

Costuming:  Please be sure you handle all your costuming business with Liz early and take an extra pass through the the dressing rooms for personal belongings.  Note: if you are performing for Julie and Paula in the Red Barn shows during Gold Rush Days, you can speak to either of them about leaving costumes in the dressing rooms.  They must be properly labeled and collected in one place! Except for this, all personal items must be removed from the greenroom by Monday at noon.

Cleanup:  After the cast party and again in the morning (Monday from 9-noon) we could use your help to sweep floors upstairs and down, vacuum carpets, pack dishes, fold chairs and generally make sure we return the place in at least as good a condition as it was handed to us.  Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Loadout:  The Eagle will be open from 9 AM to 1PM for loading all of Red Barn Productions kitchen items,  costumes and props, and VA supplies, into the truck and trailer.  If you want to come help load, please let one of the directors know.  Help is always appreciated!

Gold Rush Days Rehearsal

Burning Brothel Rehearsal scheduled for 10:00 a.m. will meet in the Saloon and work out on the street - 35 to 40 minute rehearsal and then we finish to attend notes.  Hot times in the old town!

~ Julie

Next Missive/UOP 150th:

There will be another missive sent out prior to the Union Pacific Railroad 150th birthday celebration taking place on September 28 & 29.  Please look to this missive for details and show times. Red Barn is producing a historical pageant, opening ceremony and other entertainments for this exciting event. We hope you can join us for this free event!
